Public Statement No. (2) Regarding the Launch of the First Conference of the Palestinian Smart Youth Parliament In light of our national and youth message, and believing in the importance of empowering Palestinian youth to actively participate in decision-making and enhancing their role in building democratic national youth institutions, the Palestinian Smart Youth Parliament announces the launch of the first conference of the Palestinian Smart Youth Parliament, which aims to select parliamentary representatives from our Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip, the West Bank, Jerusalem, and the Palestinian diaspora, based on transparent democratic principles, in accordance with the provisions of the constitution and internal regulations of the parliament. The first phase of the conference will begin with the formation of the founding body of the Palestinian Smart Youth Parliament, which will include a broad youth base representing various Palestinian governorates and our people in the diaspora, as it serves as the foundational framework leading to the conduct of smart youth elections. The founding body reports directly to the executive youth authority of the Palestinian Smart Youth Parliament, and is committed to all its decisions and directives issued in accordance with the provisions of the constitution and the internal law of the parliament. The executive authority will also have full oversight of all conference activities, manage its phases, and form specialized committees responsible for organizing the conference, overseeing registration procedures, media, elections, monitoring, and all necessary organizational tasks to ensure the success of this national milestone. The mechanism for joining the parliament is as follows: 1. Filling out the official membership application for the parliament. 2. Joining the official communication group of the founding body via WhatsApp. 3. Reviewing the constitution and internal regulations of the parliament and committing to their provisions. 4. Participating in introductory meetings held by the executive authority to explain the constitution, parliamentary work mechanisms, and the rights and duties of members. 5. Completing membership requirements in preparation for participating in the electoral process. The executive authority confirms that it will organize a series of introductory and awareness meetings to explain the constitution, institutional work mechanisms, and conference procedures, ensuring informed and responsible participation from all members of the founding body. After completing the work of the founding body and approving the membership records, we will move towards the smart youth electoral process, which will lead to the election of parliamentary representatives, the announcement of official results, and the formation of the youth administrative authority of the Palestinian Smart Youth Parliament in accordance with the constitution. The Palestinian Smart Youth Parliament calls on all Palestinian youth who meet the membership criteria to take the initiative to join and actively participate, contributing to building a pioneering national youth experience based on democracy, transparency, innovation, and institutional work.
