With deep sadness and sorrow, the Palestinian Smart Youth Parliament | PYSP extends its heartfelt condolences and sincere sympathy to the Orthodox Church in Gaza, and to the family and loved ones of the late Maysa Dawood and her daughter Mari, who lost their lives due to the bombing of a residential apartment in western Gaza City. We ask God to envelop them in His vast mercy, and to inspire their family and loved ones with patience and solace, and to protect our people in Gaza and grant them peace and security. The Story of a Child Who Never Made It to His Classroom.
Martyr child Mohammed Saif Al-Din Al-Shukheiti was a child preparing for his first days of the new school year, carrying his schoolbag and books and dreaming of taking his seat in the classroom. But in Gaza, even children’s dreams are not spared by war. Mohammed was killed by gunfire from Israeli military vehicles and fell into his mother’s arms. She had been waiting to say goodbye to him as he left for school, only to say goodbye to him for the last time.
