Building Skills for Professionals in Psychological and Social Support for Women and Children in Fragile and Crisis Environments

In line with the Palestinian Smart Youth Parliament's (PYSP) commitment to developing the capacities of its members and enhancing the level of specialized work within its units, this training proposal is part of the capacity building and professional development pathway, specifically for members of the Psychological Support and Mental Health Unit, and the Women and Children Unit. The importance of the program stems from the nature of fragile environments and crises, which require workers and volunteers to possess practical skills that enable them to safely and professionally address the needs of children, women, and individuals affected by crises, while adhering to principles of protection, non-harm, privacy, and appropriate referral. Therefore, a brief and intensive training program is proposed, focusing on transforming theoretical knowledge into practical skills applicable in the activities of the two units and the Parliament's future initiatives.
